Big Punisher - Capitol Punishment. Mixed by various. Mastered by Leon Zervos.

He's the senior mastering engineer at Sterling Sound. I haven't heard hip hop sound like that in a hot minute!

Low rms levels but HUGE mixes.

Anyone care to chime in who might have worked on it?

Lots of names I don't see thrown around much for engineering credits. All good mixes.

Peace
Illumination

Cant really be classified as Hip hop but D Angelo's "Voodoo" still slays me to this day - That lazy, funky ass bass by Pino and Tip's Kick and snare are all timers - Russel Elevado there I beleive

Diggable Planets - "Rebirth of Cool" and Ice Cube - "What can I do" as far as singles are standouts for me...

I like the mixing on Notorious BIG "Life After Death" & Dr.Dre "Chronic 2001" on the whole album!
