| modulation on drum tracks...... Ok i was reading a very informative on modulating drum tracks. Learned some new things. How do you guys make a workflow in which you can modulate your kick's, snare's and hi-hats while making your songs? It's really creativity killer for me to draw in automation in my sequencer to acheive this effect. What is your setup for this? Laterly i've been thinking of getting the Behringer controller with the rotary knobs just for modulating drums sounds...... Do you guys use automation for modulating your drums sounds in a track, or just mult the kick and snare, change the attack, pitch, envelope etc, then play them in once in a while? What is your system? |

| i'm curious what do you use when setting up the modulation to respond from a velocity input from a midi keyboard? (wut kind of hardware) or do you use vsti's samplers for this? what is your setup for this? thanks |

| that beringher controller is nice it has endless controllers (so no jump in data when you grab it) and has a nice "learn" function. recommended that said, I like modulating at the source when that is analogue, it feels more direct, and different. midi is handy, but still midi.
