Loudness Wars vs. Autotune

I dont know which is worse..

Honestly.. Can we just stop using autotune as an "effect" for like... emm i dont know.. 10 years? It's gotten so out of hand, that everyday regular people are making it fun of it now. When has everyday regular people EVER noticed something specific in a mix and called it out? Not very often! And i cant think of anything but "More Cowbell!!!!"

I mean, just go to youtube and search for autotune.. You'll see videos like "Autotune the news" and whole plethora of shit devoted to making fun of autotune.

Dont get me wrong, autotune is great tool for fixing shit your unable to track again, but using it as an effect has just gotten out of control.

You know whos the worst is ron browz or whatever his name is. Hes a joke as an artist and gives autotune a bad name. If used right its not too bad but any of his songs make me wanna take a shi*. Ha Ha

The title of the thread intrigued me as I was curious to see what the correlation between loudness wars and auto-tune was, but sadly the thread was just another mindless rant.
