Favorite Verse?

i think this can go here...

MAYHEM BY MY MANIFESTO pt 1

relax, hustle, find peace, and then struggle, to reach completion
shady ways where the road was paved, with hells secretions/
one bedroom ghettos spots, to a penthouse in the venetian
on a treadmill with a corvette engine, and a door i'm never reachin/
my speach patterns, release tattered emotions, from an open cut
spoke too soon cus a tomb's created from a mothers gut/
where i loom, the sun shines in a refraction of smog
even comedians' gangsters, steady laughin too hard/
critics, hop on ridick bowes, then weep and woe when they fall
children neglected by talents, don't even know when they call/
stalled movements, ever eludin touch, they'll never be reached
a new wind has brought a breath of air that has yet to been breathed/
i wonder if ideas of thoughts of they own, or if planets have homes
if god has a brother... if so why ain't he king of the throne?/
do clones know they ain't original, do trees have subliminal names
does blood feel like it's on a rollar coaster when creepin in veins/
does metal feel remorse for keepin prisoners chained?...
do the faces on my cards know that they livin a game?.../
do dead people speak... in a frequency uncharted
when they think of us are we refered to as dearly departed/
do answers ever ask questions, then get frustrated with silence
does eternity feel boredom when it remembers it's timeless?/
do apostles read the gospel, realize mistakes and then fret
when jesus turned one fish into a thousand did he mourn for their deaths?/
when my father walks in heaven, does he realize that he's dead?
are these crazy questions, or answers to the lies in my head/

3/4 of Aesop Rock's

about 2/3 of Sage Francis's

About 1/2 of Eminem's

3/4 of Wu Tang - 36 Chambers, 1/4 of Wu Tang Forever, and 1/4 of the rest of the albums including solo releases

All of Method Of Expression off POSD by Candiria

Tons I can't think of right now.

That'll do for now.

my favorite verses are by Nas...one is off the Lost Tape album...#2(i forget the name)

Starts off like..."hoes in my focus slow me, roll wit the brokest homies, cold and we hopeless lonely, scolding my foes so phoney, from blocks where coke'll feed ya, and cops is over-evil...etc."

Now that i think about it, i can't pick a favortie verse. Jay Z, Nas, Biggie, they're all contenders

That's my dilemma too. I'll go with this one because you can watch it like a litlle movie when Bigs spits it. Can't put just one verse because the whole song is a story... Respect!

"Somebody's Gotta Die"

[Verse One:]

I'm sittin in the crib dreamin about Leer jets and coupes
The way Salt shoops and how they sell records like Snoop
Oops!
I'm interrupted by a doorbell
3:52, who the hell
Is this?
I gets up quick
Cocks my ****
Stop the dogs from barkin
Then proceed to walkin
Its a face that I seen before
My ***** Sing, we used to sling on the 16th floor
Check it
I look deeper
I see blood up on his sneakers
And his fist gripped a chrome four-fifth
So I dip
*****, is you creepin or speakin?
He tells me C-Rock just got hit up at the beacon
I opens up the door, pitiful
Is he in critical?
Retaliation for this one won't be minimal
Cuz I'm a criminal
Way before the rap ****
Bust the gat ****
Puff won't even know what happened,
If it's done smoothly
Silencers on the Uzi
Stash in the hooptie
My alibi, any cutie
With a booty that don't **** the Pop
Head spinnin, reminiscin bout my man C-Rock

[Chorus: repeat 2X]

Somebody's gotta die
If I got, you gotta go
Somebody's gotta die
Let the gunshots blow
Somebody's gotta die
Nobody gotta know
That I killed yo *** in the mist, kid

[Verse Two:]

Fillin clips he explained our situation
Precisely, so we know exactly what we facin
Some kid named Jason
In a highway station, raggin
Was braggin
About how much loot and crack he stackin
Rock had a grip so they formed up a clique
Small crew
'Round the time I was locked up with you
True indeed
But yo ***** let me proceed
Don't fill them clips too high
Give them bullets room to breathe
Damn where was I?
Yeah
One night in town
Blew the **** up
D-Rock went home
And Jay got stuck the **** up
Hit 'em twice
Got 'em right for the virgin white
Pistol whipped his kids
And taped up his wife
He said "Yo Rock, set em up", no question
Wet em up no less
Than 50 shots in his direction
How many shots?
Man *****, I seen mad holes
What kinda gats?
Hitch links, Cocks, and Calicoles
But **** that
I know where all them ***** rest at
In the buildin hustlin
And they don't be strapped
Supreme in black
Is downstairs, the engine runnin
Find a bag to put the guns in
And c'mon if yo comin

[Chorus]

[Verse Three:]
Exchanged hugs and pounds before the throw down
How its gonna go down
Lay these ***** low-down
Slow down
**** all that plannin ****
Run up in they cribs
And make em catch the man n ****
See ***** like you do ten year bids
Miss the ***** they want
And murder innocent kids
Not I
One ***** in my eye
That's Jason
Ain't no slugs gonna be wasted
Revenge I'm tastin at the tip of my lips
I can't wait to feel my clip in his hips
Pass the chocolate
Thai
Sing ain't lie
There's Jason with his back to me
Talkin to his faculty
I start to get a funny feelin
Put the mask on in case his ****** start squealin
Scream his name out
Squeeze six knuckles shorter
***** turned around holdin his daughter

Probably Rakim - "Let The Rhythm Hit 'Em"

That blows me away every time I listen to it.

"Get ready, I'm hard to read like graffiti but steady, science I drop is real heavy."

Peece,
