Thread Starter | Buy any new VST's lately?
As far as your sounds, do you find yourself always buying stuff? Or do you stick to a selected few? Has anyone bought any new vsts lately? I just bought omnisphere. I feel that with trilogy I'm good. |

The last plugin i bought was omnisphere, it has endless possibilities, I don't think i need anything else, just the Fantom, Omnisphere, Sylenth, I do have others tho, but these three are the only ones i use

Gladiator 2 is a BEAST! If you want to craft a unique synth sound, this is probably the tool for you. +1 on pretty much all of the Spectrasonics stuff. But the new STEAM engine and all the presets (templates) are just next level. Also, NI is offloading the Komplete 5 package for $399. Sick deal for the amount of horsepower you can get out of that bundle. PWG

Good stuff guys. Just seeing what your using. Omni is cool... It works really well with ableton. What do you guys think of nexus? Get new sounds is like collecting records to me. Got K5. Love NI to death... I have all their stuff except, Tracktor. Im ditching Serato for it.

+1 for Omnishere. I recently copped that too. Incredible potential this thing has. Also, love Gladiator 2. I too, always find myself buying stuff. Also recently got East West's Fab Four which was a bit dissapointing. East West's Silk is next on my list. Vir2 Syntax is very good too.

I've been messing with the Waldorf Largo lately. Nice synth if you are into the Waldorf sound.

If I had some cash, I would have killed some of the black friday sales. The Sony Oxford deals looked real nice ... think it runs a lil longer Sent from my Nexus One using Gearslutz.com

| the nexus 2 is a dope rompler. if you're going to cop the Nexus 2..i would look into seeing if they can do a customized bundle so you can pick the expansion packs you want because Expansion packs are like $65 each (I personally own 9 of them). I know people have done that in the past with reFX. check out the sample videos of each expansions here: Nexus2 expansions | reFX i suggest the video rather than the mp3 b/c they indicate which sounds are being used as the video plays. |
