U could probably just switch the output bus to stereo.

I rock Cubase. It's ppl here who rock Sonar, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, etc so you just gotta find one thru trying the demos. Once you pick then learn it inside out.

Welcome to the board!!! The search is your friend and it's some really kool pro's here to give advice.

I found cool edit pro was not very user friendly, when I interned at a radio station, here in nc. But the sound quality was on point. I use reaper now, and wondered how I got this far without it. Try everything atleast once, and keep an open mind. peace

Yea reaper and ableton are both pretty dope and have the advantage of letting u use vst's and au's. Im a logic user all the way tho. I just use the vst wrapper when I need even tho I pretty much have everything I need as an audio unit. Pro tools is cool as well, but to me the midi side isn't as user-friendly as logic (at least in protools 7, haven't tried 8 yet) and im not a fan of the limited track count in LE.

I think you need to understand that as far as mixing is concerned, producers and beatmakers come to me all the time to mix their final productions because mixing is what I do best. Getting a team of dedicated and talented people would help you out a lot in the long run.

So you got the beats down. Next step work on your recording. Not mixing. Get the tracking process down. Get proper gain staging. Plenty pros here that can handle the mixing for a fee of course. If you can find a local studio then take it over there to mix. They'll tell you everything you did wrong in the tracking stages. Then you'll have the tracking down and get to sit in on the mixing sessions.
