I like to work between 3 different seq,Track a 2 track of the midi for each,and then keep adding on unitil it's done. That way if your trying to make a 150 -200 part seq you can focus better and then bounce every element from each seq.By the way, buy a really good wordclock when tracking or bouncing it really makes a huge difference.

i personally start my arrangement in cubase using midi and when i layered the sounds that i want and i am pretty satisfied with how the arrangement sounds i then print everything store the midi in a folder with in the session and recall it when i want to make changes or add to the song but when i do get to the final mix i do eventually print everything
