| mpd 24
Hi, people...to whom may care. I've just recently purchased an mpd 24, with I guess little knowledge on midi, and midi hardware. So i buy the machine, using it with Battery 3. Using battery 3 as a plug in, in Logic 7 (yes i know im behind, i accidentally bought an academic version ) It all seems to be fine in regards to getting sound through battery on the machine. both as a plug in and stand alone I do need to ask though, when making beats whats the method, or process one should take when making a beat thats perfectly in time etc... I can play the mpd in logic live, writing the notes on an instrument track etc... then trying to quantize. it just doesn't seem right? plus how do i layer my samples on the mpd pads... Can any one tell me some basic step by step ways of making tunes with the soft/hardware ive mentioned? ive watched the battery 3 videos, they dont help to much. and ive watched videos on youtube on the mpd. . . not alot of info out there... |

| ![]() Tweak's Guide to the Home and Project Studio Seriously good info in there. Sounds like you are a bit of a beginner. Do some research and reading of the manuals. Especially the MPD, Battery and Logic manuals. |
