Thread Starter | Acousticas IR Libraries (Lexicon300/EMT 245) Does anyone use the Acousticas IR-Libraries? The demos sound great! It's discussed here. But would you use a Lexicon 300/EMT 245 in a hiphop-mix? |

I make hip hop and and on drums and vocals I use the EMT 245 all the time. I love it in the range between 0.8 and 2 seconds. If I had to make a choice between the two for hip hop only, the EMT would win that prize.

Thread Starter | Thank you for your input! I know you're a huge fan of these IRs.. ![]() I use Logic and i've read that there are presets for reverb modulation. Are these different presets for each product? Can you tell me a little bit more? |

| Lives for gear | I have and use a real 300; I've been working with that unit for years. While the "bigger" verbs may have limited use in modern commercial hip hop, the plates and especially the ambience patches are extremely useful.

I use the mods. a lot on longer reverbs only, as IMO it gets a chorus style of sound, when used on shorter reverbs. but on the long tails it really adds life to the sound | |

| Acousticas IR Libraries (Lexicon300/EMT 245) Hey, I was looking to pick up the Lexicon 224 IR's. I emailed the support address that comes up on the site. I am waiting on a response. I also googled Acousticas to find out if they are available anywhere else. A bunch of cheap oem software sites came advertising them for $20-25 per each set. Has anyone purchased from these type of sites? I am not looking for hack or pirated software, but would really like to add their lexicon and EMT IR's to my mcdsp Revolver. Thanks for any guidance.
