Anyone try either of these for hip hop vocals? Here is a thread with a Sputnik and puelso 2247 Vocal Mic Shootout - Peluso|Telefunken|414|Sputnik And have a listen to Beesneez jade and james mics Im also considering a Studio Projects c3,cs5 or T3. |

I am not a hip hop guy but I just ordered a Jade about a week ago. While the Sputnik has sounded pretty good when I have heard it, the Jade blew me away. I really am having a hard time waiting for it to arrive, I am very excited. I think a great mic can cross any genre of music, so I recommend the Jade. get in touch with ben Sneezby (the maker) . He will give you some guidance as to which of his mics would be best for you.

I thought it sounded really good too. Its a Jade vs. a Peluso LE for me. Cant decide.
