Thread Starter | might get a mpc 3000le Well i have the opportunity to get a mpc 3000le for around $1,000 because the screen is super dim. My guess is that LED is burnt out in it. Besides that the unit is in MINT condition. How easy would it to be to fix the display? Any company's out there you guys know of that can fix it? any ideas how much it would cost etc...? |

| The screen problem is most likely the foil that needs replacing which can be bought from various sellers. Example Der Unterschied Other issues could be the inverter, this sends the power to foil, although when this starts to die a high pitch noise is discharged from the inverter which is located near the power pack on the MP's board. Both Forat or mpc-parts could send you a new inverter. By the sounds of your problem it most likely the foil which is fairly cheap to replace. This is the type needed Einbau At a 1000 dollars the LE sounds like a good deal. thumbsup
