Sound Problem [w/ sound samples]

Hi!

It's me again with another question!

Ok, I've been recrding some beats to Pro Tools 7.4 LE via MBox 2 (as stereo files), after I recorded them I bounced them as WAV in the STEREO option.
Now when I play them some of them sound really good on my computer speakers, the kicks are played mainly by the woofer, the melody etc. is wide spread in stereo, and other sound kind of crappy is if everything was playing in mono. Kicks, and melodies are spread at all...
Why is that? I didn't touch any controls after recording, the recording/bouncing prces was the same for both...


Could you guys please tell me what's going on?

Btw. Could you also tell me how during the mix procees can I spread the sounds across stereo, have the kick play from the woofer speaker, not the other two etc.? I'm totally new in mixing, some help is needed. Maybe links to tutorials?
