Reason and Ensoniq EPS 16+!

Sup everyone..im new here..GREAT SITE...

I recently coped an Ensoniq EPS 16+..practically stole it...$200!! im predominantly a software dude (Reason 4.0) but i want to start utilizing classic gear in my studio...I of course wanna use the EPS in all its standalone glory...but i also want to use it just as a midi controller when im using Reason...and for the life of me i cant figure this one out......

so...i bought an M-Audio Midisport midi interface to connect the EPS into my Mac, running an MBox 2 mini, i know Reason like the back of my hand so the connection there isnt the issue....but being so new to the EPS (still reading and learning the unit) i have no idea how to set up the parameters in it to use it like just a basic midi controller....does ANYBODY have any insight on this?? or can someone direction me to someone or somewhere..lol..so i can figure this out......THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE...GLAD TO BE HERE

Read the manual specifically about how to create an "empty" instrument that will act as nothing more then a midi instrument. Read on how to assign a midi channel that this instrument will transmit information on.

You also need to make some adjustments that pertain to you in the edit-system menu (transmit functions, base channel, midi in mode, etc)
