| Lives for gear  | ASR10 effects external hardware. Need help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osCQjVEKIfc ASR10 effects with external hardware. Im doing something wrong, can any one check the lame video and let me know? Im doing routing and its getting good results but I think its something a bit wrong?

Kinda busy right now but if you search, you can find a topic from me about getting this working with very good results. Not sure if that helps or not or whatever.

yeah looked over all your posts about it. Deal is my mixer cost quite a bit, (rane SM82) and is dead silent! But I think it might be wrong for the application or perhapse... im doing it wrong! The picture I posted suggests routing out from the mixer AUX send to the ASR then from the ASR to the 8th and 7th input and turn down the send but it goes ape. |

what are you trying to do? use the ASR as an EFX box or use it as a Keyboard?

Both, but my mixer is doing something wrong because it said to take the main expand out from my sub mixer and route to an external unit (computer in/out) but I use the ASR then route back from out to an input and put the send to 0 but if I do it then I Get infinite loop! im using it as a sampler and an effx box. perhapse over kill? |

Mixer EFX send >>ASR input ASR output >> Mixer EFX return EFX return knob level at "10". or Mixer EFX send >>ASR input ASR output >> Mixer CH 8 input. CH 8 send level slider at "0" zero CH 8 volume level knob at "10" EFX return knob level at "10" now you figure out the rest. Its pretty easy wax on, wax off.  | |
