Roger Linn just updated his website about 6 days ago. He's coming along pretty well and apparently it won't be analog :( but still looks sweet and the price is lower then what you originally thought.

Heard that 2 years ago, too.... Wake me up when they have a picture of a prototype.

^^ Tony I feel the same way. Seems Maschine kinda took the hype from LinnDrum, and now it won't even have an analog synth built in? Meh.

I was hoping for something like a Linn-era MPC + Jomox in one box. Great sounds, great UI, tweakable analogue drums. Guess it won't be happening.

I wonder why Linn didn't approach someone like the Jomox guy when Dave Smith bailed out, that would've been a match made in heaven.

this product is 5 years too late. if people want a linn, they'll get a 60 or a 3000 or even a 9000. software is killing it right now, so hardware is a tougher sell.

I think we are no closer than we were 2 + years ago when the thread was originally started.
