No Midi Seperation/DeMix In ProTools?

I love PT's and I love alot of things it offers but one of the main reason I stay making music in Reason 4 is that im able to use the ReDrum and route individual drums to the mixer.

I cant seem to do this in PT's with Battery 3. Seems like all my drums midi has to be confined to this one midi instrument track in the mixer.

Can this me done? Is the some sort of "DeMix" feature in it like Logic has?

Just solo the instrument, bounce, solo the next instrument, bounce etc. until all the sounds are tracked out.

You can do multiple outs but Im not sure how that works with battery/pt.

Read the Battery 3 Manual. It explains exactly how to have multiple outputs in PT.

you can demix in protools. Go to window and choose "event operations" or the quick key is option zero (not the zero on the numeric pad) After the event operations window window pops up, click on the top tab/menu and pick "select/split notes."

demix is when each note from a midi drum groove is split into individual tracks so you
can edit and arrange the parts independent of each other.

in logic there is a 'demix by note' feature good for breaking up midi drums into separate
tracks and 'demix by channel' when a complete midi arrangement needs to be broken
down e.g. piano midi 1, bass midi 2, drums midi 10 etc.
