tabla drum programming on Ne-Yo and Stargates "Miss Independent"

I really love the programming on this..it sounds like a loop but i dont think it is as they drop out individual parts throughout the song..they also blend the clap really perfectly with the tabla...just curious where people think they got these really hi quality sounds from ..or even better..if anyone knows firsthand...

thanks in advance!

I believe EW Ra has some good isht in it, but I haven't dug deeply enough into those type of sounds yet to share any experiences. Its there though.

I know what you mean. Someone was telling me that I can use my Kontakt 2 to play those library, so once I dive more into using it, I will do just that.

the RA sounds are nice and clean but need a lot of processing to sound "hip-hop". All the EW percussion is designed to work better for scoring I really dont use it much in hip-hop...

Sirocco... perhaps some tablas for UF5?

All EWQL stuff works in kontakt 2 as long as you register firt with the intakt or kompakt player it came with

give your track to a great mix engineer or the samples to a sound designer...

I do a lot of sound design but it mainly involves creating instruments from scratch. But I'm no stranger to mangling anything from drums to voices to get things sounding whatever way I want. It doesn't sound like it would be hard to get what you want. Maybe I can help?

ewww bummer I am on a mac so dont have sylynth. I got the Ni stuff, most of the refx stuff, spectrasonics and some of the arturia plugs.

Honestly- you want ill sounds you gotta learn how to make your own. Nobody knows exactly how you want that lead to sound except you. Anyway, sylenth has loads of very usable presets just stick with those if you dont really know how to program.

Anyway if you want patches for any of the plug-ins I mentioned get at me. Talk to Sirocco too he makes great patches with NI stuff.

many of my sounds are re-made/modelled after popular producers sounds, hence the sub-title "sounds of the super producers"

The drums you make are pretty good... you should consider selling kits. If you still need demo singers I may be able to hook you up with a few I work with.
