Hey, I like Waves

I like RenEq, RVerb and RComp, the V Series, and The SSL series (and I recently found myself using TrueVerb). They're all dope. C4 makes for a great De-Esser, but I find it to be overly sensative sometimes.

Fairchild, and PSP Neon. Both awesome.

OrangeVocoder. If I'm doing something with a vocoder.

E-Compressor for Parallel Compression. There's probably better though (feel free to make suggestions).

Biggest thing I want though is and eq that works well with really narrow bandwidths without annoying resonance when there's some surgical stuff to be done.

euhh fl reverb sux ballz imo. Don't get me wrong i love FL just not that reverb. And are you using FL to record and mix your vox???

But i have to ad URS Pro to the list. Like the C4 too and Rchannel with rvox for the compressor. bverb 2 so basically stuff that's already been stated. Who's taking points? Most voted plugin

My favorite vocal comp is the UAD1176LN. Its the one I usually end up going with. I sometimes use Rencomp or 88RS. I use the normal reverbs, UAD Plate 140, CSR, Altiverb. The equalizer I use the most is the UAD Pultec, it really sweetens up the vocals...but sometimes I use the Helios or URS CSP.

Yes, I sound like a UAD spokeman but they just sound amazing.

compressors:
1) uad la2a - almost always except:
2) uad la3a - to add mid freq coolest :) (sometimes)
3) uad 1176ln - to add character (sometimes)

eq:
1) uad neve 1073 - killer stuff for vocals
2) uad helios 69 - killer plug when it's own character. love low know with 60/100Hz and hi knob with 10kHz. sounds very nice with VERY extreme tweaks

reverb:
1) wizooverb w2 - always escept:
2) uad plate 140 - musicality
3) artsacoustic reverb - musicality

effects:
1) discodsp thrillme - brings to life poor or lifeless vocals
2) cubase quadrafuzz - i use it mostly for SFX but sometimes in send bus for adding harmonics
3) nickcrow tubedriver - the best FREE tube amplifier effect

there is no BEST plug for me. when i need some character i just know what i will exactly use. it's all about sound.

Even though its a mastering EQ I too tried it on vocals and loved how it subtley adds/subtracts to the vox in a pleasant way.
