Good work! I liked it better with the pitch shift at the end. Very cool idea. I would have then brought the enhancer track down just a touch - but that's me! Still, good work.

With Camtasia, if I remember correctly, it "films" what you are doing on the screen. This would be a problem if you were sitting at your monitoring position and didn't have a mic closer to your mouth or even a clip-on mic.

However, if I am wrong then - ignore me!

I loved the video! Kick enhancers are a brilliant idea!!! Even though you could can accomplish the same thing with mults and layers its convenient to have these enhancers!!!

Thanks man!!! These may be a little more special than 'meets the ear' at first :)

We ran these through a pretty unique outboard chain. Let's just say you could have the kick enhancer at -20 dB and still feel it heavily in a mix. It went through spl - > distressor - > fatso - > manley SLAM! (most digital limiters would literally die a fast death in this case -- we tried ahaha so we had to rent this)

then we ran the signal chain's noise as a noise profile through waves z-noise to eliminate it :)

The best thing to do with these is to load them in battery as a new layer, then browse them, while listening to ur mix, on top of your current kick! then you can pitch them up and down from within battery!

i tried battery again. i want to love it but i cant. the exs sounds better. ive actually started making drum kits for it. my mpc and asr sound so much better (duh) but ive been trying to find a software solution for speed. the exs actually comes close to actually duplicating the sound of the sample i put in it. i tried the same with battery and was disapointed again. i love the way batter works but thats it. im just babling on i guess,
