Confussed About The ASR-10..

The ASR-10 has been advertised as having a 16trk sequencer. But when i had one, i only experienced it as having an 8trk sequencer.

Sup wit that?

The asr 10 has 8 instrument slots and tracks. (Sequencer tracks) After you record your sequences and chain them in song mode you can play over the entire song with 8 more tracks (Song Tracks) but you have to use the same instrument tracks as you used on the sequences, its kinda limiting but you can work as many sounds as you want if you know how to freak the asr 10. You can have several sounds within one instrument track by assigning wave samples in layers

The Asr 10 is not the best sequencer its good for grooves. the sampler is still one of the best.
