You cant use it inside reason!!! But you can use both if you use cubase/logic/reaper/sonar/ fruityloops/ableton etc. If you have one of those programs you would rewire reason inside one of those programs and then just use the proteus as a vsti inside your program! Its actually very easy!!! Last edited by DROPKICK; 4th June 2008 at 05:59 AM. Reason: add more

that is what i hate most about reason. no external plugin support why they do this i have no idea, maybe reason 5 will have it if they are smart or maybe never. so hence i will say these words like i always say em "there is no reason for reason" .lol

I understand where your coming from but its not a big deal if you have a DAW!!! I dont think they will support vst/au/rtas thats why they invented rewire!!! | |

they wont support those because it defeats the purpose of reason 3, its made to be a stand alone itb workstation. you can think of it as software version of motif and fantom.

reason doesnt sound very good though does it. sure you could do stuff with it in the mix, but why spend twice as long making a mix sound good when you can get some nice motif sounds that sound big and wwarm already.?
