| Gear nut | Loops Going Out of the box ? Hi, I made a dozen songs for a rap cd in reason. Just wonder if I can mix direct into protools or if I should go out to get the sound pass through some analog preamps / comp / eq ? With all the good plugins available is it needed to go out or are there electronic production which are made only ITB ? How the majority of rap, rnb producer do ? |

| Gear interested | You could rewire it straight into pro tools and mix it ITB, however some outboard gear might help it to sound better. It totally depends on how it sounds. I find it easier to mix when the signals have been recorded through high end pre's. |
