looking for koto samples

hey, I have been looking for a excellent quality koto instrument. I have heard of one somewhere, but I can't remember...

I have also heard of the east west RA package, but it is self inclusive, so I can't use it on other samplers.

can anyone recommend one that will sound like a real japanese masterpiece?

While against the ways of hip-hop... you should be able to find a competent Koto player in any major city and it probably wouldn't cost them much to have them come play on a session... why not just post to CL looking for one?

Yes, i know that samples are superior to real players... sigh

But that wasn't exactly his question.. And samples are superior to real players in many areas, just not the sound. However the convenience and economy areas come to mind.

Maybe he wants a sampled instrument for mockups. Then he can book a competent player if his clients choses the mockup to do something with..

Lo and behold, here you are again giving the guys on the hip-hop forum a hard time. "While against the ways of hip-hop"... can you be any more condescending? Hey man, why don't you find a competent Koto player in your own major city, and ask him/her to slap you silly with said Koto for wasting everyone's time by providing answers that you know no one wants to hear.
