Just curious. Not - to make hi-hats, to process them.

i never really need to "PROCESS" Hi hats... but i'd say the SSL Channel... but then again i use it on damn near everything

I use an exciter on a buss that is effecting 4-5k and up. I may use a stereo delay or room verb also.

also the urs a10 can give them a really nice "crunch" - if used extreme enuff it can have a bit of a bitcrushed type sound

yall are really tweakin....talking about "processing" hats? wtf. i find usually a basic HPF works for me.

I got 50 000 snares and I do process them...eq, compress...so I do not understand.

Because maybe you want to cut some lows and boost some highs. You want a little distortion above 10k? Maybe fast stereo delay so they have presence in both speakers? There are many reasons.
