| Please stop starting thread like... this. It's so frustrating. OKAY it's a good way to get attention from people cuz it's in human's nature to be curious... But think about the poor kid who's trying to do a search and just find results with threads title cut in half... Think about this poor kid please .Seriously knock it off. I'm no mod or admin, but I'm sure alot of people think the same way about this big issue. Plus I'm sure it will help saving nature from global warming.

If I see another "Can Anyone Help" or similar, the threads is getting deleted. If you need help.... be specific. For instance... "Problem with Logic and MPC sync". We need people to be more specific with what the thread is about from now on.

Cool - can we also ban respondents who: (1) Railroad discussions about the operation of Beat Detective or Elastic Audio by saying, "get the drummer to play it again in time." (2) Railroad discussions about the operation of Melodyne/Waves Tune/AutoTune by saying, "get the singer to do it again, in tune." (3) All permutations of the above for bass, guitar, etc etc. Sometimes either: (1) The musicians are not good enough - simple as that. That doesn't mean they don't have the right to play music and use the technology to make up for their own shortfalls. (2) You're the mix guy and the mix guy only. You simply don't have access to the performers to get them to redo stuff. Sorry, this probably should have been in the Moan Zone. But to me, this is the most annoying thing on forums, along with any discussion of Waves products and their functionality turning into a WUP thread. Even the OPs in those threads have gotten pissed off at that!

yah it's like when I was looking for information on the MPC1000... The only thing I found for it was the question that I asked.. like how is a site like this not gonna have anything about the MPC1000. Oh.. because people put dumb ass titles to their threads. Good job Einsteins. and then everyone else is like "there's a million threads on the MPC1000, or this topic has already been discussed before..." Well yah, but the title could of been "Chocolate on my nipples." How is that gonna help me?

Can we avoid elitist and patronising remarks to less experienced musicians/gear nuts too. Theres way too much "im better than you, i know more than you, so therefore you dont know shit" attitude. we're supposed to be sharing knowledge here, encouraging one another, coming on here to do the opposite is not only a waste of a post but also extremely annoying. If people want to bitch they should keep to a bitching forum. Too much hate here.

I hear you, feel you and understand you, but... Did you know you can mouse over the title of the thread and see the first few sentences? If the title doesn't explain it enough for me I always move my cursor over the title. I hope this helps when folks do the... Thingy!
