Anyone offering cd duplication services in their studio?

I'm thinking of starting to offer cd duplication as a service. I'm doing a bit of research on my own but just curious for the people who already do it, if you know of a company that sells the cheapest but decent quality blank cds, please let me know. Also slim jewel cases. Sorry if I'm not supposed to be posting this up here. Thanks.

Used to but CD's are just getting so played out, I wouldn't invest any money into it.

AFA blank CD's, I get the magnavox brand at officemax and I've burned about 10,000 of those and haven't had a coaster yet. They are about 15 bucks for 100.

I hear you. But I still get alot of clients asking about it and I always end up referring them to other people. Why not make the money myself. Though I didn't realize how much them damn thermal printers cost. Good lawd! Thanks for the input. Anyone else?

We just started offering runs less than 1000 and our machine has stayed busy since we turned it on. We usually do not use cheap CD's but we still urn a profit even though the original idea was just to offer the service as a bonus to our clients.

Many of our clients perform live and do merch sales at the event. Even after our price they still make about 8$ per CD

It is probably not a good idea to think you will get rich off of selling dups but you will make some of your clients really happy that you can do it.
