MPC Style VST Based Sampler?

I use Ableton 7 with a Korg Padkontrol and have also used an MPC. The MPC seems to work faster as you can "chop" a loop across the pads quickly and really work with it. Ableton and the built in samplers do similar functions but its not as fast and it doesn't chop it up. I know Acid Pro has a "chopper" function.

Does anybody know if you can make Ableton act like an MPC for chopping the sample across the pads or if there is a software based vst sampler that does the same?

Thanks.

Thank you!

Man, thanks for that tip! That function is BETTER than the MPC chop! I love Ableton.

Not inside of it, but you can send out individual slices onto different tracks.

I know its software, but who hell would not run it? and it better be a legitimate answer.

no, it's a new feature, it works with the "instrument rack" an awesome tool, it's an "mpc like" interface that let you assign anything under each pad (vstz, midi outs, chopped loops slices via simpler). It's the best new feature in live 7 to me.

Making Waves (it's suck that development has been halted). "And that's all I have to say about that."
