Battery 3 Question

I have a MPC, I've been running battery and I've actually been chopping the samples in recycle and importing them to battery which is pretty cool.
I have a few questions though..

There's a function in the MPC where you can make the notes mono, poly, or not off.

How would I make these assignments in battery.

When using recycle is there anyway to delete the chops that I'm not going to use. I can do it after it's chopped but Is there anyway to do it in the program?

Instead of helping me, you're plugging your site. The amount of time you took to type that ish about your site you could have told me how to do it.
Thanks.

Beggars can't be choosers, mr. mortgagepro. I admit that the site is so badly organized that it will be a pain to search for it, but if you are too lazy to look up the thing on his site, I think you don't deserve an answer ... in this case it will always be ye olde "RTFM" ...

I'm gone answer you but you should apologise for talking like that to maestro trying to help you...

Look into the "setup" tab >"voice groups" & "cell activation".

...and you couldv'e used your time wasted on your reply to read the manual.

I mean, I don't use battery but I did once and figured out how to do what you are asking. Someone(pretty reputable someone) gave you an option but you wanna whine about it because it aint what you wanted to hear. C'mon man. Chill out.

Reading the manual FIRST and asking questions later always helps me the most.

Maestro, I searched the site and found nothing of the sort. The manual sucks, I'll figure it out eventually. I Just had the crazy idea that someone might actually know how to do something except talking about how Scott Storch and Timbo's dicks taste. I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the input guys.

The manual doesn't suck you just didnt read enough.

Usually every soft sampler has some control over the voicings. assign the cells to a voice group and change their polyphony. Thats how I remember it in Battery.

Did you even ask on the NI forums?

dude just cause you are too dense to either read the manual or understand how to read a blog isn't our fault. funny that you couldn't find this on his blog seeing as i just switched to battery myself and needed to read his tutorial a few days ago (and found it on his blog in about 2 minutes).

anyway, its there. had you not been such a dick in this thread i'd be happy to give you the link but now you can find it for yourself.

So you come here for help but at the same time want to insult forum users? That's kinda dumb to me.

Admit it, what you actually want is for someone else to go read the manual for you and then tell you how to do it. The time it's taken for you to post here to insult peeps is how long it would take for you to learn how to use the search / find function in adobe or preview.
