I can personally say I love Brian Kidd and he's a mentor of mine.

Dude's ear is on a whole other level. Kicks always big as hell..bass always hitting perfect.

His timing is top tier. He's my favorite programmer outside of myself and Polow.

Chase its funny you say that because I've always wondered why he doesn't get more recognition and shine considering how good he is. I can't even find one interview with him online or even a picture. Is he just the kind of guy who prefers to lay low? Cause his work is seriously incredible, that song he did for Enrique Iglesias is just....wow.

On the topic of drum programming what did you guys do besides practice a ton to get so good? I've only heard one song you did (Double up, great drums) but polow's timing is rediculous, I try to remake a lot of his stuff on my 4k but its not easy. The drums on London bridge and let's get this paper are both crazy.

As far why he isn't known man I've asked Brian mad times lol.

I think he really just like making beats and plus he's pretty set financially. He doesn't have to produce for his main income.

And for the programming I don't really practice..just comes natural to me from studying Timbaland and Brian from the jump.

I listen to a lot of world music and you hear different cadences and timing so I put that into music as well.

Learning the ins and outs of all the rhythms and shit.

I know he turned so many people on th the miko and neeko.
After he did that no good beat.. the same sample showed up on nelly furtado album.
produced by timbo. its damn near the same beat. he worked on the first Nappy album as well. Ill tell you another dope producer that runs with brian
James groove Chambers.. sick
he produced aw naw for nappy and never got the credit. it all went to jazzy who didnt have shit to do with the record accept the vocal he did, which groove wrote..Chris
