I Love Adobe Audition but i have been getting a inside ear telling me that Mackie Trackion is much better. What do you think?

I already own Tracktion and wanted an audio editor to do spectral analysis; I tried an Adobe demo and I was quite impressed by it. IMO the version I tried was not a DAW as such; more an editor with impressive capabilities...I like all the Adobe software and the audio stuff is no exception. Tracktion is a more capable creative tool - the WYSIWYG interface really does make the workflow easy and fast...just click and drag...also I think Tracktion uses less CPU. My recommendation is for Tracktion which is the real DAW; Adobe is great for some DAW duties and editing if Wavelab is above budget. Happy shopping, 101 |
