Motif XS8 and Korg Radias Rack or Access Virus. Gotta cover the acoustic and synths.

sound board??? used to people calling mixers sound boards.

there is no better... there's differences and a few "better fors" but they're all nice.

currently own fantom x7, m3-61, and xs6... i get around em pretty good so if there are any serious questions i can probably give an answer.

Im gonna be looking at picking up an M3 soon, so I will soon find out. I got the ES Rack, and I have used the XS many times. I love the Motif sounds, they are my absolute favourite. The korg stuff still has its place In my productions though, even though I feel that their patches are the most over used of any other synth.

I got the M1, Triton Rack, and have used a Korg TR and Triton Extreme from time to time on several occassions, and so far from what I have demoed, the M3 is a much fresher spin on the Korg sound, so its definitely not just a rehash of old stuff.

Happy 135th post Keyflo

A while back i was gonna get an M3 and demoed it at GC, the sounds were improved a lil but it had the absolute worse keyboard i have ever felt( triton le). If i were to grab it, i would get the rack version, also the 88 keys felt equally as bad, in this dept, i gotta say yamaha or studiologic is way way better.

i'm not a player but i actually like the m3-61 key bed. the keys do feel like they stop a bit short but they are really smooth. the xs6 has the best keybed of the three boards in my opinion. but like i said i'm not a player.

That being said i never used workstations for synth sounds. Only real anolog synths for that. I use my motif for the pianos, EP's, Strings... all that I dont have at the studio. I think the Motif is strongest on these instruments so to me I think Motif but depends on the user and the use.
