| arrange ch strips/logic ? ok, i asked this in the logic forum with no help. i know a few guys here use logic so maybee you can help me. i just bought logic express 8, im trying to learn it to see if i make the switch form ptle...anyways, i am alittle confused with the right ch strip in the arrange ch strips. i understand the left as an audio/midi/instr ch..however the right one is confusing me a little. is it basically an aux ch? either way, i feel kinda dumb asking but i figure let me learn this.................. |

| the right is the master audio output. You can like mastering eqs to the whole track to make it sound good. whatever you add there effects the whole track. It's not like the seperate channel strips. Select it and click on mixer at the bottom and you will see that it's a master output...

| Actually that is partially correct. The 2nd channel strip displays any possible signal path that the 1st channel strip routes signal to. By default it will show the output channel that the 1st channel strip is routed to. If the 1st channel strip has sends inserted and you click on them the 2nd channel strip will display the actual channel strip that the send is routed to which will allow you to adjust any parameters of that channel strip. -GK |
