YouTube Tutorial: How To Make Dr Dre Drums

Brief overview of video:
1. Layering and chopping up drum sample.
2. Adjusting envelopes and beefing up each drum sound.
3. Using two Linear Phase EQs to shape the sounds.
4. Passing the drums through Opto compressor followed by a limiter.
5. Adding swing on to the drums.

6. Right at the end the video, about 10 secs of footage is missing: the input scale on the limiter is set -5db.

Sorry but i cannot hear any Dr Dre resemblance. It sounds very standard (digital) to my ears, things i do and have done on EXS 24 for over 5 years now.
