New Pads for MPC1000

If anyone is interested, there are new pads available for the MPC1000. Now the 1000 has the same feel as all the others. It only took Akai 3.5 years to get it right. Unfortunately you have to pay $180 for it and I don't think Akai is going to make it standard.

I ordered from MPCstuff - Akai MPC Parts , Accessories , Faceplates and More. They shipped this morning, so I won't have them until Monday. You can also get them from VST - Professional Audio Repair - Pasadena, CA.

These are supposedly identical to the 2500 and 500 pads. I'll post my own review after I install them.
