LMAO

Oh man: the best way to start a day is with a good laugh.

I remember people (on FP I think) saying about this photo:

"Yo man, that can't be DRE... Man look at his body... look at his chest: it's way too big for his head... It must a fake photo... and anyway: EVERYBODY knows that Dre doesn't use software so it MUST be a montage"

Misinformation at its best.

Dr. dre isn't playaing a c minor, it's only a C 5th, look the there is no Eb. But that's not my point, I'm just saying that, yeah maybe he can play some chords, but there is probably like on every good hip-hop album, a good key player that make the track, and for dre, there's is probably a littlew string orchestra to play some part. Real sound is probably the best!

Im just about tired of other producers coming to me and expecting me to tell them that their beats sound good when really everything is all out of tune.

It pays to spend time actually getting to know how music is played, and learn something about chord progression.

and those who arent willing to actually slow down, and take some time to learn how to produce not just a beat, but a whole song; and learn how to mix, etc., need to just stick to what they actually know and stop faking it.
The one problem I have found working with hip hop artists that come in with their own beats is that they have no idea how to even play a chord..they grab the pencil on fruity loops and start drawing untill it sounds good to them..and most of the time it's out of tune..and they want me to lay a real bass track over this mess of notes..

So yes..learn how to play a little, learn about music instead of gear first!!

No, it is c minor. The 3rd finger of his right hand is playing an Eb. From bottom to top the notes are C, G, C (left hand) G, C, Eb (right hand).
