| I have been using REASON to make a lot of Hip Hop beats and now I want to incorperate what I have been doing at home onstage with my band.. Can I dump my REASON samples onto the MPC 2000 and bust that shit live? What do I need to know? I've never used hardware, but I'm good with instruments and most electronics.. What is the process for doing what I want to do? Oh, can I use the Pads of the MPC2000 as a MIDI controler inside REASON? HELP! ![]() |

| yep...solo each sound in reason that you want to record and record it into your mpc. trim the samples...sequence them up with the mpc's internal sequencer and your ready to go. you'll dig the sound as it will most likely make your drums/sounds have punchiness. the mpc 1000 is nice because you can connect it to your computer which is great for backing up and/or dragging audio files directly into the mpc...although i recommend recroding each sound analog just to get a little extra dirt on them. |

| Lives for gear | he could also just slave reason to his mpc and trigger sequences on his mpc which i think would be more ideal than sampling everything to his mpc

| Lives for gear | when reason is slaved to the mpc it works like any rack. a pad kontrol is not a mpc. i could understand reason being a pain to use live
