Has anyone heard it? I have little faith in remakes, because when almost 90% of the time the original ends up being superior in terms of sound and character. But maybe they managed to work some magic.

Good choice! I don't really see how I would use midi in a Rhodes. I have that option in my upright but I rarely use it....

i think the little red one sounded the best. but then they had it hooked up to some old jacked up vintage fender amp. I wasn't pleased with the newer suitcase models. to each their own. it's all good. i wonder if they sell a retrofit kit for the vintage rhodes pianos that will add midi or USB?

the new mk 7 is supposed to have the guts of the V which is supposedly the "best" one. the last few rhodes were manufactured by Roland (i think...dont quote me). the new 7 is supposedly in the hands of the rhodes people (solely) for the first time.
