I'm a security guard... It gives me all the time in the world to make beats and work on other stuff like promoting through myspace and sh*t like that. I also freelance live sound gigs around the Houston area.

I do Non Destructive Examination, Industrial radiography, industrial ultrasound in chem/oil refineries. Pays well, but I fear for my life more than I should.

I had an odd job

I worked as a composer for a production house, creating music for a TV series (caribbean Tales, aired on Brovo!) and a film based in and shot in Toronto (" A Winter Tale", if anyone wants to check it out, came out in 2007 I think).

Anyway, the odd part is that I was paid by the hour for 8 hours a day 5 days a week, to compose music, needless today I had a lot of time just bumming around the office (no one can compose music 8 hours a day Monday to Friday, no one I know anyway).

So yeah, it was a day job, and yet not a day job.

No joke, I upholster restaraunt booth seats as well as gym equipment. It pays my mortgage, keeps my wifey happy, feeds my 3 seeds, and last but not least BUYS MY GEAR!! Actually my project studio is starting to bring in some cash. I'm hoping in about a year to transition over to full time music.

I don't have a "day job" but I set up live sound for Southeast Staging (concerts) once or twice a month... it's a good 400-800 bonus money every month. Usually gets spent on weed/bar. Beats pay the bills right now ...
