Open Labs' MimiK

anyone tried this to clone keyboards?
i know of samplerobot and samplit softwares already

im wondering is this is able to clone patches that have glides and legatos?

So anyone have any info on Mimik? I'm just wondering how it compairs to the other software out there.

Yeah, I cloned a Motif with Mimik, and it's pretty damn good, you can record glides, aftertouches etc, but it does take a long time to do. And the recommeded sfz player to play the sounds with is very limiting. Open labs needs to come up with a synth that has more control options.

is the process automated. for example a bank of 128 presets will it just clone them all without u pressing anything (using change preset midi commands)?

I assume it does the same thing Samplerobot does.

Why not just use autosampler?
