Who wants to mix a hot record with NO BUDGET! Yet......!

Alright I know we are all very busy, and I can mix it myself, but I would love to see what can be done with other ears!

I will get the files str8 so it easy for any format.

It might be a very big file...

Paperwork if you want...

but I just want a solid mix from other ears!

PM for details! or post live I have nothing to hide, it will be on the up and up!

We will be pushing the Local station WGCI in Chicago as soon as its done!

Who is up for it!

I send out the masters as standard AIFF or WAVE files Full Length, and labled.

You (Mix Engineer) mix the shit outta it and send it back to me.

we can have a agreement if you want.

I want to hear my production mixed through different ears..

Why would any mixing engineer do this for free?

I can understand why you would want them to... But, I can't understand why anyone, who has any type of skills, would do this without proper compensation.

I may on occasion talk about some of the products I am a dealer for in my posts.. and that's OK! I sell them because I like them. Not vice versa. It's more fun to talk about things you know and love, then things you don't.

$100 per track. If your songs average 30 tracks or so, thats $3,000 per song or so.

Any cheap places? Its only gonna cost $100 to master it all.
Mastering is a much simpler process than mixing a record. The mastering guys can do an entire album in a days work. Whereas the mixing engineers typically turn out a song per day. You will probably get exactly what you pay for with the the $100 mastering, unless we are talking about per song. For anywhere between $3,000-5,000 you can have a top mastering guy do a typical 12 song project.

I don't want to advertise my rates, but $1000/ per song for a good engineer is typical (someone who is capable of major label work and has some credits). With discounts on entire projects, etc.

A great engineer will cost more... and a really great one will cost a LOT more!
