I feel ya, but since the whole industry is kinda shook about record sales, saying that in these times isn't really what I would call brave. It could just be an understandable and acceptable excuse for a weak performance.

I still like what he said, but I'm tired of the general Jigga worship that folks engage in. Artists become icons for the purpose of economics, yet consumers deal with this as if money has no part in the scheme. What's worse is that hiphop fans clammer around the economic info that they have access to and swear that it's the gospel. And in the end, what does it mean to any of us how many albums or movie tickets that Jay or Tyrese or Speilberg, or Bouncie Knowles sold, especially if we didn't buy any of them?

Now, in my mind, Young Guru didn't do worship, but he definitely hinted at it when he spoke of his boss.

peace.
