Thread Starter | How to Make Fat Drum Loops on something that isn't a proper sampler Yamaha Corporation of America - AW16G A few days ago I was able to get my hands on my friends digital mixer, the Yamaha aw16g. A nice compact mixer that can be used to track recordings with, but there was something there that I wanted even more then that handy funuctionality, The Quick Loop Sampler. It's four buttons that I can assign 4 sounds to (switching between each sound clip through a menu), similiar to a sampler. Now the trouble starts when I want to have say 8 beats repeatedly loop, so that when I play to the 8 beats or 16 beats it will loop AND PLAY WHAT I HAVE ALREADY RECORDED, or stored. I want to do basic beat making like you would on a mpc. But alas, I don't know how. I want to do what a sampler can do on this digital Mixer, now I know there are some awesome engineers and enuthiasts that might know. Please share |
