quality brass sounds module

hey i have a motif and a proteus that i love to death , but i feel that most keybaords lack big time in the brass department... i can get a good sounds but genrally have to layer it like crazy and even still it sounds "just good" to me. any modules or boards or even samples cds (preferrably akai format) that have some quality brass sounds? .. im looking for evrthing.. from powerful stabs to background horns, but mainly powerful type brass .. any help would be apprecited.. thanks i would really like a hardware as opposed to a cd but ill take any suggestions

apprecite the suggestion!! .. ill llook into that although im not a vst fan ... btw im not looking for something that sounds super crazy right out of the box with presets .. im not expecting that i just need something with more power and feel than my motif can provide.. most of the brass on there is just weak sounding to me ..

i have a motif i actually like the brass sounds good to me but i see mostly most producers in the game that use brass sounds alot use fantom so you can probably check into the fantom module but its mostly mixing you have a motif so its sounds good you should be able to tweak the brass sound the way you like it.

You can find a decent brass sounds in DX7, just apply some reverb to them and they will be very real!

you have a sampler right?

East West Samples - Quantum Leap Brass EMU

shit......you could probably use chickensys translator or cdxtract to convert those to motif format, and load em right in your keyboard.

fantom

I don't have a fantom but I have the fantom refills and the brass sounds are really nice. I would imagine that the actual module sounds even better. I also have the motif rack and I think the brass sounds on the fantom are better. though I do like the motif ones also.
