| Young Jeezy - The Inspiration Wow, what in the world is going on with the sound on this album? I turned it on, and it felt like the air in my room turned to music. Is this a new trend in the south? TI's album (to a lesser degree), Ludacris' album, and now Jeezy's Inspiration sounds like they've been put through a coffee filter, dry-cleaned, pressed and starched. The mastering has highs for days... It almost sounds like it's Danity Kane or something, and not a Hip-Hop album. Seems like some major changes went down around 2006. It's a remarkable sound... Is this the new face of hiphop in the south? |

| Gear maniac | I felt the same thing about a couple tracks off of Rick Ross' album. Everyday I'm Hustlin, and even moreso Push it to the Limit. Them tracks just sound huge and airy. Guess the South made some loot, and put it to good use. PS as if it hasn't already, South Florida is ready to blow up Antagonist www.myspace.com/leftcoastrider |
