| ATCQ Vox I been listening to tribes midnight marauders...and i must say...IMO its the best sounding sample-based record EVER i know it got a lot to do w/ Bob Power but... its so good it makes me sad that albums will NEVER sound like this again. for all interested...go check "electric relaxation" what kinda vocal chain were they using. simply the most warm vox without a trace of sibilance.... uhh.......... |

| I remember Tribe when they first came out, and I wasn't over feeling the style..as I was more into the rah rah hype hip hop of that time. I recently just downloaded a load of Midnight Maruaders and Electric Relaxation from Itunes, and yep really got to appreciate the production, mix and mastering on those albums even on my Ipod they sound much fully rounder and fatter than most of todays mixes.
