Newbie mix, just lookin for some feedback/tips?

hey wats going on everyone i'm new this is my first post just wanted you all to get of feel of who i am and what i do, first off i am an artist and 2nd of all i am aspiring engineer, hence the word aspiring, lol. check out this mix i did a few days ago its not an original beat but i mixed it, i would just like some input on what i could do or if i'm horribly doomed. get at me..

Not bad.. your on the right path, for me the vocals were a little loud compared to the track but everything else sounded cool. but then again im listening thru laptop speakers so i cant make to many comments.

good looking out i appreciate the feedback a lot, i gotta bring down the back ground adlibs a little bit, and add some instrumentation the beat cuz as of now its just a loop but thanks for the feedback..

ryder215 the s,es are killing me too much 2500-3800k range on the vocals, you my need to add a desesser. For the track it's ok but it's not moving it stay's the same needs some build up to get the crowed. I check this out on a HD system going out of a 192 into P8's. I do mixing all the time Rap and R&B for major people and this is what I hear. tutt
