HHB Radius 40 - Mic Pre

Iv got the opportunity to pick a HHB Radius 40 for $600 AUD. What do you all think of them? Iv heard really mixed opinions about these???? <o:p></o:p>

Im know they are essentially a TLA Ivory pre the MK2?. But the MK2 have the improved envelope attack times etc, so will it sound as good?<o:p></o:p>

Id also like to use the compressor for drum bus compression etc & just as a general tube compressor until I pick up a 160A xt <o:p></o:p>
