I use the EWQL PLATINUM now and love it. Just remember to throw ALOT of ram into your computer ;-) Also remember its a BIG timeconsuming job to build an orchestral sound. Use to use Miloslav on Gigasampler years ago, and my feel is that EWQL is much more rich and detailed in the sound.

Im using it in the tracks on the Myspace page underneath if u wanna hear EWQL in action ;-)

I have miroslav and have used the East West Platinum orchestra. East west is so much better as far as realism is concerned. Miroslav is very functional but does not sound as good.

VSL

I have VSL, it sounds really great!!
Huge library!!
It's dry, you could modify beyond your own imagination.
But Im running on Logic Express double processor G4 with 1G RAM,
and its kinda slow to load, and I load it from Kontakt, cuz Im pretty familiar with it.
So everytime I decided to have strings arrangement,
I went to reason 1st, then export the midi to logic, then replace the reason string with VSL, its faster that way for me =)

But for a simple backsound string arrangement, I use reason orchestra, its really good, except you have to tweak the sound a lil bit more...
