ID this beat, please

Heard this beat on MTV Cribs, while Youngbloodz were appearing.

I quickly re-created it (poorly), cause thats probably the only way I can get it ID'd.

It sounds like a track, that must have been a banger a few years ago.

Please help if you can

Peace
Puma

I dunno, but what are you using to make beats? I'm real used to hearing my 60 I guess.

I know a guy who's had several of his beats licensed by MTV for Cribs... Which means some of the stuff you hear on there may not be on a commercial release. Good luck though...

I'm 99% sure this was a hit single two-or-three years ago...!

The key of the song is the theme made with BELLS! Probably a little saw-synth on top. Dirrty south bouncy vibe. Think producers - think!

WideAwake, I use Cubase/Reason. No hardware

That's nothing I've ever heard...

MTV buys a lot of music to play in their shows... Disco D was licensing a lot of tracks to them for the Gauntlet. It's quite likely this was not a released song.

Put a vocal on that recreation you did,
put it out, and you are exactly perfect
for the American music (substitute film, tv, etc) machine.
Kinda like timberland.

i agree with tony and everyone else... mtv purchases lots of music... isnt too tough (obviously) for someone to write something familiar by changing a note or two and its def cheaper then licensing from a major...

I stay on top of my music, and that wasn't a track on the radio. It's possible it was an album cut I never heard, but more likely it was what everyone else is saying: a licensed track MTV used.
