MV8000 vs MPC3000 (???)

Hi, this is my first post here.

Ive seen many videos with the MV.
I found it on eBay for about 1400-1800 USD.
The MPC3000 goes for about 1200-1600 USD.

Has anybody done anything with the MV8000?
I already own an Akai MPC60 and i know that the MPC3000 will meet my needs so i dont have risk buying it BUT should i go for the MV8000?

Id like people to give me some feedback about this. Has anybody worked a WHOLE project on it?
By WHOLE project i dont mean working a SINGLE track on the MV from scratch till the final CD master.
Im asking if somebody has has worked on the MV and used it for what it does for about 8 to 15 songs.
When i handle a project i, many times, reach the limits and its important that what i am going to buy gives me more space!

Thank you.

As a user of the MPC3000 and having a friend that owes a MV, I would personally go with the 3000. The reason being is that the sequencer on the Akai is alot better than on the Roland. I'm a fan of the MPC 60, 3000 and Emu Sp1200 so I'm not usually impressed by new samplers. But the MV8000 was the 1st to catch my ear with it's sound. That machine sounds great and has alot up to date functions that the MPC3000 doesn't. So it's like this....both sound great, but if you will be using this machine as your main sequencer, go with the Akai!!

Yea I heard those are pretty good too.

I'm not a fan of the 1000, 2000xl(the unsturdy built), 500 or 4000. But I doubt the 2500 can compare to that Roger Linn swing and sound!
